Hot Vegan Chocolate is commonly served in almost all restaurants especially Pupusarias where they serve mainly Pupusas. This is a common and popular dish in El Salvador just like pizza is accompanied with coke in the USA.
Isn’t chocolate bad?
Most places serve there chocolate pure which is amazing since I don’t consume dairy. The main reason why chocolate is associated as a bad snack is mainly because of the milk. Pure Cacao however is actually healthy and a good snack to have. Cacao can be made with brown sugar or even just cinnamon mixed with cacao as well.
In the video below I will be making a vegan chocolate from scratch with brown sugar this however can easily be made without it as well.
